Fueled by 70mph Santa Ana winds, this fast-moving brush fire began early Sunday morning in the hills of Moorpark, California. By 9pm Sunday night, the fire had consumed more than 9,000 acres.
I remember that the high school closed the day AFTER the worst air quality, lol. The day it was actually closed, everyone just hung out outside because the air had actually cleared up a lot.
MVMS had to stay open on monday and when everyone went to school alotta peoples eyes burned and my throat got dry
