Just a reminder of how dangerous surfing is! I'm a Pilot and used to do medevacs in a small learJet at the beginning of my career in 2000. I once "'Hauled" out a 23yrs Australian "surfing prodigy" out of Puerto Escondido, Mexico with 4 ruptured cervicals....Although he survived his impact on the sand barrier, he has never used any of his members to date..........
