Thank you very much for uploading this. This really is a rarity! Gounod really does write well for strings. I'm not bowled over by his piano writing, but the piano-pédalier is, in my view, an instrument worthy of revival. All we need now is someone to record Alkan's works for the medium!

Thank you so much for uploading this performance. I have really enjoyed watching the videos, being unaware that Gounod had written any concertante piano works. It is very effective, and this is a really valuable contribution to the YouTube classical 'collection'.
