James Kalm is slumming on the Lower East Side when he comes across this opening. Tracey Emin is a founding member of the YBAs (Young British Artists) and represented Great Britain in the 2007 Venice Biennial. Featuring over 53 works in neon, film, sculpture, embroideries and monoprints, this extensive show continues the artists exploration and objectification of her own sexuality, lust, longing and desire.

Thanks for doing this. It proves to me that Tracy Emin is merely an agenda lead and ultimately soul-less entity who follows the orders of the Media Magnates who have promised her large sums of money and a kind of immortality. It doesn't make her irrelevant... just, almost a waste of time!

You gotta love the "I can't think of a new direction to take my art, so I'm going to write" approach. Though some of her line drawings are interesting, they lack the technical skill and strength of say Calder or the very master she referenced.
