I've got a beat up body from too many years of field archaeology and it's impossible for me to move like Mr. Hempfling.I have his books and Dancing with Horses is a wonderful horse book even for those who don't ride.Beat up as I am I have three horses and when I hurt to much to ride I love being with them.I've learned much from his books and understanding horse body language has helped me tremendously in knowing my critters.Horses are beautiful and wonderful creatures.

I've been reading up on keeping the body in alignment on the spine and about the bones of the skeleton. Watching this video realized what amazing posture you have and you carry yourself so lightly. Beautiful and magic

I spent all my youth with horses and all of them always followed me without halter wherever I went. I often "Lounged" them without one but had no specific method. We just trusted each others and enjoyed each others.

I am dreaming to get a young stallion again to work in this way although, definitvely I am no longer young ...
