  • Who is the tabla player?

  • I will definitely come and listen to wherever she is singing next. She will grow up to be one of the foremost female singers of our country. Her rendition oozes tradition which is so missing among young performers of today. Wish her a lot of blessings from up above.

  • nice abhanga-pleasant one .

My request to Manjusha is she can pour in more BHAVA , prem for God because that is the soul of any abhanga !!

She can invoke it by singing ALONE in front of GOD !!

  • Please post the whole concert, if you have it. I'd appreciate it a lot. Thanks.

  • I never got enthralled by Bhimpalasi this much before .

That treatment from 2:02 til the end, especially that diamond note at 2:14-2:15, and the bayan work of that Miss, good good !

A little suggestion, upto the middle the vocals are sometimes a bit too technical, there should a bit restraint in the gamaks.

    Otherwise perfect !

  • Those tabla laggis near the end of video, good job girl ! Damn it grooves !

  • when a classical singer sing a abhang/bhajan in open place which is not recorded properly- then this all happens(you have to enjoy the alaapan, lirics may not here you)- ok bye guys.

  • sure I am not. I am not even pretending to be!! I just love some music or not, And Manjushri Patil to me definitely seems more show than singing. Look at her while singing...She seems to be saying "Baghaa mi kitti kitti chhaan Gaate !"

May be she does. Bui to me it's all sans depth. Just a lot of technique. "Tayyari". As they say in your world...

I am frankly happy NOT to know as much as perhaps you do about music - if you like this kind of singing I am really happy...

  • There are people who know more than me in music, but alas, you are not one of them.

  • I am sorry to say this to an oldie like you. and finally straight without sarcasm.

But you seem to have this obsession of judging people...does it even occur to you that at least some of these people could be smarter than you? even in music?
