Was listening to Terrence Mckennas last interview for the millionth time and I was able to write down two cartoons that he mentioned. One being Quasi at the Quackadero. What a delight. The cartoon was a buzz of sub-conscious imagery and amusement that had me giggling. Not only that but musings of Terrence's reaction to the cartoon, as if he were watching aside me, made it all the more enjoyable.

Were you by any chance involved in Pee-Wee's Playhouse? There's so much of Quasi in that show (what I remember of that show, it's been a while!) you're amazing - thanks thanks thanks for all your wonderful work!

what a psychedelic cartoon. its strange and almost scary but definitely very cool to watch and well made. theres nothing like this nowadays

Spending a day with Terrence would have been lovely. His brother Dennis just completed a book, "The brotherhood of the screaming abyss," which accounts their life together and gives more insight into the minds of both brothers.

Wow, this is just as mind-warping and wonderful as I remembered from seeing it at (I think) the Ann Arbor Film Festival in 1979 or so--or maybe it was paired with a feature like "200 Motels" at a campus screening around the same time. Anyway, brilliant stuff.
