You are so right. God wants a relationship with you. It's not about threats, He never threatens. He speaks words of love. There is a God like that. He sent his son to die for you. That my friend is love, that is trust, that is sacrifice. I'm afraid you don't understand Who God really is. But then none of us will totally understand, He's God after all. But your perception of Him is wrong. He loves you.
