fun fact: mort camens (the american champ) was the first american lot winner in 1983 (before either fast money or the cash jackpot) was introduced)

I found it interesting the amount that was available to be given away on the American $OTC, and it was shown mainly in daytime. If a contestant was lucky, they could win over $100,000 worth of cash and prizes.

I like the clip from a 1983 Sale of the Century USA version episode where a contestant won the lot!
