It's a question of putting such small machines back where they belong at the end of the workday. The machine this gentleman calls "large" I would consider an appropriate size. Small enough to be put in a corner out of the way, yet large enough not to get misplaced. If this size is too large, your clinic room is too small. About all I can see handheld ultrasound scanners used for is out in small villages where the healthcare staff comes out once a month or so, such as the poorer reigons.
