I think you are missing the whole point of the speech here dude. I think Pacino is trying to make the point that regardless what is happening, or what he is offered he will not put his integrity on the line for the sake of him benefitting. However, in this day, and age we both know that this would not happen! I do see your point though...

I just wonder if these evident looks of admiration on the face of Charley actor are admiration of Pacino`s acting,or the excellent speech`s full meanings,or the real wonder of the moment that Pacino made it more real than acting,or the three all together at the same time.
I believe this young actor will be a very good actor in the future,and he will be always openly proud of his being one day a student of Pacino in a practical lesson in everything which was called- A Scent of a Woman-.
