@AnteyPL The Standard Starfury was called the Aurora class, just thought I'd chip that in if it would help. The advanced one, with the extended fusilage and atmospheric capability, was the Thunderbolt

Shadow Vessel description as 'Somewhere between a spider and your worst nightmare' on S2 Finale. I couldn't agree more or applaud the music score any better.

Depending wether we talk about all sci-fi, or just B5. Here's my list of favorites:
Star Trek - Romulan D'Deridex class / B-Type Warbird
Star Gate - Asgard O'Neil class ... uh.... capital ship :)
Babylon 5 - Minbari Sharlin class destroyer / Earth standard Starfury
Battlestar Galactica - Colonial Viper Mk.II
Firefly - uh.... no much of the choice, show not really about starships

I always loved that the Shadow vessels "bled" when damaged. It was a nice touch .

I wonder what poor sucker they got to go into the Shadow vessel and why that test subject would agree to go into it?
Anyhow, the scene where the Whitestar flies upwards while the Shadow Vessel goes past it on its way down while dramatic music's playing was quite epic. It felt like the harbinger of death flew over them.......
