Your Financial & Retirement Goals (Financial Literacy Series)

On Wednesday, July 27, McGraw-Hill FCU hosted its monthly Financial Literacy Series seminar on the subject of achieving financial and retirement goals. Guest speaker, Brian Fernandez, Retirement and Benefits Specialist for CrestPointe Financial Partners, was on hand to help educate attendees, and provide them with a better idea of how to reach retirement goals. Topics discussed included: how to budget your finances to meet your retirement lifestyle goals, creating steps to build a plan so you can retire when you're ready, preserving your retirement funds with easy-to-understand techniques, building and maintaining a long-term investment strategy so your funds continue to grow, and tips to determine your personal risk tolerance, and how to plan accordingly for financial health. The educators who attended the seminars received continuing education credits.
