@trethousandgt, Jordan Brand and Nike is like Verizon and Verizon wireless there under the same name in some respects but they are different companies and JB cannot put Nike Air on the back without paying Nike to do so
-
@BrianP9935 Yea, its about that time. I know they want to distinguish between JB and Nike but those shoes were Nike shoes not Jordan's not to mention it just plain looks better lol
-
I wish Nike would listen to the complaints about putting Nike air on the back of Jordans again

@trethousandgt dang ok thanks

Awsome Review!!! I dont think too many people were on these shoes, but I got me a pair. Growing up in the 80's I remember these shoes and till this day I thought they were fresh. I just picked up the Air Trainer in Black/ Antharcite and I love'em! Got to pick up the OG colorway soon. Thought I'd Share. Thanks!

@SNEEKATTAKS I like the black/anthracite, and I still have to pick up the white black grey set! Definitely pick up the OG colors before they disappear you'll love them thanks for sharing :)

@trethousandgt, yes, JB is still a subsidary of Nike, but Jordan has the right to his shoes that is why they do not say Nike Air. Even D-Wade, CP3, and Melo shoes don't say Nike Air.

@rvelasc0 They wouldn't say Nike Air, those aren't originally Nike Shoes. When I say Nike Air should be on a shoe I'm talking about the shoes that ORIGINALLY had Nike Air on them such as the Jordan III, IV, V, VI

@BrianP9935, @trethousandgt, the reason J's don't have the Nike Air on the shoes anymore is because Jordan bought the rights to his shoes. He didn't like how Nike was making money off of his shoeline. I agree, Jordan retros aren't the same anymore, and have ruined a lot of classics. I don't purchase them anymore for that reason.

@rvelasc0 Definitely NOT the reason Nike Air is not on the back of Jordan shoes anymore. Brand Jordan is still a subsidiary of Nike (I.E. they are still owned by Nike) and still uses Nikes patented technology in their shoes. The reason they stopped was for branding reasons (they want to be viewed as a completely different company). They could easily issue shoes with Nike Air on the back but choose not to.
