Part 1 of the post race coverage from the 1988 Pontiac Excitement 400 the last race at the Richmond Fairgrounds Raceway.

Winners circle interview with race winner Neil Bonnett, 2nd place finisher Ricky Rudd and his car owner Kenny Bernstien.

Also problems arise when Rudd and his team think they have won the race due to a scoring error.

  • That one thing I don't miss about the old scoring method. Thank God For the computer timing and scoring

  • Am I crazy or does it look like Rudd has a mouth full of tobacco?

  • Ricky Rudd should have stayed with the # 15 Bud Moore Thunderbird in 1988. His #26 Quaker State Buick ride for 1988 and 1989 had too many engine failures.

  • Thank God for transponders!!! I would hate to have to keep score on a card, geesh!!!

  • Ricky was always getting screwed by Nascar. This was a DAMN' shame...!!!

  • One of the announcers blew their damn nose LOUD right at the start! HA HA!

  • The overhead shot at 2:55 the outline of the current layout can be mentally photoshopped onto it.

  • One of several screw jobs NASCAR had on Rudd..
