Don't be that person who has a sucky intro, or don't be that person who clicks off of a video because the intro sucks? I haven't used an intro to my videos in years. Of course, I haven't made a video yet this year too, so I may still have a chance to make a sucky intro!

@kenrg I meant don't be that person who makes the intros, of course... I'm finding many small time vloggers lately who make 20 to 30 second intros for a one minute video. They've really got to pay attention to that whole "you lose half your audience in 20 seconds" thing... if they drop off for these people, half the audience misses the CONTENT.

Sound advice. My intro takes about 1 second and is recorded new every time "Hey YouTube It's Urgo" so hopefully it doesn't suck!

@ralfonzo83 Seriously though, I was watching a few video blogs from beginning vloggers and those with small audiences and sometimes their intro just blows... sometimes the intro is longer than the video! ...And yes, I realize I used to do that too....
