I wish I could find one where Maria and Linda were sewing a quilt. When they held it up, they showed that it had a patchwork Q on it. Plus, Linda taught the signs for Q and "quilt"!
I play the banjo. I'm no Lester Flatt or Leroy Scaggs or Earl Scruggs or Homer or Jethro or Pete Seeger, but people seem to love my banjo playing. I mostly plzay for singalongs. Ive had the marvelous experience of meeting Pete Seeger, and I got his auto graph! I've also met The Kingston Trio and The limelighters on various occasions, and I've gotten their autographs each time! I love the banjo in this segment. I believe the name of the song is "The Pony Express".
I believe the same banjo music was played in a SS film where two kids had the ability to make birds, horses, and dogs stop, go slow, and go backwards just by saying those words.
Gawd, I just surprised myself- I just hummed the right key this was (just by guessing what key it was going to start in), after all these years of not hearing this thing! Yeah, I guess that banjo picking really stayed with me!
