Kearney Nebraska Tornado; May 29, 2008

Incredible tornado chase through the heart of Kearney. We tracked this tornado as it traveled north on the west side of town. We chased with debris flying all around us. When we turned south, we got cut off by another tornado and had to seek shelter beside a building, only to have the tornado hit the building. At one point as we're chasing the tornado through town, you'll see the TIV heading the other direction, away from the tornado.

When they're debating whether a tornado is on the ground early in the video, you can see several power flashes.  It's definitely on the ground.
