As the bell that ended second period rang Roxanne quickly gathered her belongings stuffing them into her backpack, third she could be with Tilly again, thank the Lord. Moving her bag over her shoulder she made her way to History, glad to be finished with Science.
Two seats behind her sat Joe, why couldn't he gather the courage to talk to her? They spoke this morning? He sighed as she escaped his sight, grabbing his bag and making his way to the other side of campus.
Tilly had the unfortunate pleasure of having Chris in her second period. Though she had managed not to look behind to him through the class, the knowledge of him being behind her. As the bell rang a sigh of relief came, knowing that Roxanne would be in her next class, so if Chris was there again, she'd have the support she needed. Quickly stuffing her belongings in her bag she got up only to knock into someone landing back in her chair. "Sorry" a familiar voice said as Tilly rose to her feet again. She looked up to see Chris in front of her; of course it had to be him. "Sorry TillyBear," he said again his fingers lightly running across her cheek. Tilly felt his fingers linger on her cheek; of course he had to use her nickname again, have her fall in his trap once again. "It's fine" Tilly's voice came out much smaller than she wanted it to, she didn't want him to know she could fall in his trap again...Her eyes turned from his gaze knowing if she kept it, her lips would find their way to his. Without even a bye, she continued on her way, hurrying to her next class. If it was with him, at least she'd have Roxanne to keep her attention, because if she collided into him again, she'd fall right back into his arms.
Nick leaned against his locker, waiting for the jocks to join him. He wasn't on the team, not since the concussion he got in the first game freshman year, but he still was part of the click, at least tried to be. It had really turned into a never-ending job to stay on their good side, but what did he care? Not like he had a bright future ahead come May. "Yo Nick," Nick's gaze on the ground rose to see Brandon. "Got something for ya" Brandon continued. Nick stood up going to see what his next task was. Brandon's left hand rested on Nick's back bringing him to a better view as his right pointed to his target. "The nerd hasn't seen the ground in a while." Nick's eyes met the person...of course it had to be Joe...who else would it be? Nick nodded as he walked towards the one target he always regretted hurting. Reaching Joe, Nick pushed the back of his right shoulder, then for the second time that day Joe went down with a thump. "Sorry" Nick mumbled under his breath as he walked away.
Roxanne sat awaiting Tilly's arrival, as the door opened again, she glanced to see a male walking in, with a sigh she looked back down to the desk beside her. A figure came into view taking the desk she was saving for her best friend. As her mouth opened to protest she saw a gorgeous man before her. Roxanne had seen her share of hot guys, but it was something she never really cared about. Though this guy...his beauty was something that couldn't go un-noticed, which made her wonder why she had never seen him before. Looking to her other side she saw the desk was still open she placed her notebook on it, making sure that seat would be saved. Her gaze stayed went back on him, as he was the first to speak. "Hey, I'm James" he said extending his hand towards her. "Roxanne" she answered, shaking his hand. "Nice to meet you," he smiled taking his hand back "I'm new this year, my parents just moved here like a week ago." "Oh well welcome to Lakewood. How do you like it here?" "It's cool, different from Seattle, warmer" he chuckled lightly. Roxanne joined with a small laugh, "Yeah a little bit warmer here." "Just a tad" he added. As they laughed lightly again, Tilly walked into the classroom, a slight smile coming to her face at the scene in front of her, seeing the desk with Roxanne's notebook she made her way over to it "Hey Rox," she spoke as she took her seat. Roxanne looked over to her best friend "Oh hey Till, this is James. James, Tilly" "Nice to meet you," James spoke showing his million dollar smile. "You too," Tilly answered, throwing a look to her best friend.
As the class ended signaling the beginning of lunch, Tilly quickly rushed to her best friends side, checking around them before speaking, "So?" Roxanne glanced over at her "So what?" "Don't play dumb, you and the hottie." The blonde rolled her eyes slightly "Nothing okay, I will admit he's cute but there's nothing, I don't need a boyfriend remember." "Sure, sure" Tilly replied knowing she wouldn't get another word out of her best friend.
so realized something....james is taylor's character, in intro taylor carr is really james car my bad :P

I'm also a little bit confused... Joe likes Roxanne (Taylor) but they are brother and sister? Or how come they have the same surname or did I just get it all wrong? :S
