Mega Man X2 - X-Hunter Stage 1 (Boss: Violen)

Violen's tricky, so it took a few plays through the stage to score a victory with no damage. In the process I got a lot better at navigating the stage itself... it's a shame that the stage flies by so quickly, as this stage has one of the best musical themes in the entire Mega Man series.

Boss begins: 1:17

Tips for an easy Violen fight:
- Jump away when he's about to launch the spiked ball (he'll turn his head).
- Stay close to him except for when he's about to launch or when you see the spiked ball coming your way.
- Keep your eyes on the spiked ball. Violen doesn't move much, so the ball is your biggest threat.
- The best defense is a good offense. Charged Bubble Splash shreds him quickly.
