to help those cooking with microwaves generally never use maximum power especially if ur gonna make something first time, u'll burnt it... if the oven is 900W means it works constantly for the whole time. in one power scale lower e.g. 800W it will probably work for 44" and stop for 15", and less work time for even less watts. so use the one lower scale from maximum and cook for 7'-8'. if the top center of the cake it's dry and u get a nice cake smell in the kitchen ur done!

My microwave oven is Videocon VJ23CSL4 Convection, 23 Ltr.1300 watts. Please suggest what mode and time I set for this cake. I have not yet made any cake in the microwave oven.
