How to install lotro on linux mint ubuntu. Part 1: Wine

This is just a (as quick as possible) rundown on installing lotro on linux.
I am starting it as if your going with a fresh install of your linux system so the wine install is included.

I am a mac person but I am also a linux person, and I can tell you that wine under Mac is a pain in the a** despite of the kronenberg build.

It doesn't detect my DirectX Libraries, do you have any suggestions on that?

@ArturoVergaraM I have a hackintosh...I need to redo this whole set of videos. Ill look at getting it to work on osx too :)

@ArturoVergaraM So kronenberg build wont work as its the latest stable version of wine which wont work with the new ftp lotro :( Ill have to compile wine on my hackintosh. After that the steps should be the same.

@Shakez76 Thank you! That would be really awesome! One thing though, what wine version do you have on your hackintosh? Is it built from source? or is it the kronenberg build?
