The bones aren't just "picked clean" they've also clearly been bleached. hmmmm . . . dumb prop? Also, the whole idea of the ghost having to eat the dog to silence it is just stupid. How the hell would a ghost eat? It's a ghost, it doesn't have a body. It could just kill the dog and leave the body somewhere. Eating the dog is completely unnecessary for the purpose of simply getting rid of it. This is insulting even to a child's intelligence.
