Ireland 1982 - Sheeba - Go Raibh Maith Agat (Thank You)

Sheeba represented Ireland in Eurovision in 1981 with the song "Horoscopes", finishing in 5th. They decided to try again the following year but it was not to be a double win as this song came 7th in the Irish final

Not a patch on Horoscopes, but the winner of 82 was terrible as well. Once you've been to Eurovision you shouldn't try again until you've really got a good song - Sheeba should have pulled out

I love Maxi too, back in '82 anyway! She was hot alright with 'girl next door' sexiness and a pretty face to match. They don't make 'em like they used to! The times are changing when people sit at home and watch this retospective nostalgia! Better than the rubbish on T.V. I guess!
