Rachel Talks to Cass About Felicia's Drinking

Rachel returns to TOPS and approaches Cass and Felicia's table, and as soon as Rachel greets them, Felicia excuses herself and hurriedly leaves. After Felicia's departure, Rachel tells Cass that she just spoke to her production staff at the station, and there was no interview last night; Felicia made the whole thing up. Cass doesn't understand why Felicia lied. Rachel says maybe she did it to hide something, then asks Cass if he's noticed Felicia drinking more than usual lately. "What?" Cass asks incredulously. Rachel points out that there's a champagne bottle on the table and it's only 1:00 in the afternoon. Cass tells Rachel that he and Felicia were celebrating Cass's wedding. Rachel tells Cass that Felicia is avoiding her, and Rachel thinks Felicia will avoid anyone who confronts her. Cass says maybe people are misreading what Felicia's going through. Rachel tells Cass she's not taking this lightly. Felicia's work habits have become erratic, she's making things up now, and Rachel has seen Felicia with a drink in her hand on more occasions than Rachel cares to remember. Cass asks if it's really this serious, and Rachel says it might be. Cass says he'll keep an eye on Felicia. Rachel thanks Cass, telling him that's all she's asking. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.
