One of most magnificent pre-30s records I've ever heard. Must be played loud and danced to! Great job you did there. You even create nice cover art for all your vids. Very much appreciated. Thanks.

gregoryagogo is absolutely right: you are doing a great job with the 'sound restoration'. Sounds like you're a real 'pro', Prozoot! Long may you continue...

Forgive me I was not aware-thank you for enlightening me:-)

Superb...! Thank you..!

Who is the trumpet soloist?

save for no bix solo like on the whiteman victor release, this is certainly fun...especially with a rollicking vocal chorus by kaufman !

I guess you're right-I have him on I Cant Give you anything but love-Sweet Lorraine flip side on Harmony and he does sound completely different-one thing to point out- the label displayed says vocal by Frank Harris-Eddie Thomas Collegians-don't mean to be too much trouble-love your stuff from 1932-so clean sounding

During this recording period pseudonyms abound. Frank Harris was commonly used by Kaufman. ....and Eddie Thomas was Selvin.

Thats not Irving Kaufman! Lovely recording, though

Sorry, but yes, it is Irving Kaufman singing. He sang in two styles: his belting voice, and his crooning voice. Most people associate him with his "Jolson" loud sound -- but he also used the softer style on many vocals from this period.
