I also have vcfs. I hated my voice so much I stopped talking to everyone at school. So far nobody has made fun of me because I appear normal on the outside. If u don't want people not making fun of yr voice, then I reccomend to stop talking. It's also very mild compared to other peoples.

Ive had a few issues this term starting year 7 in highschool and my friends and i almost broke up because they dont know I have VCFS and they wondered why I was always getting specialtreetment of the teachers during sport I feel like I'm Hannah Montana at the moment living a double life :/

I'm 24 and I've had vcfs all my life. My parents found out when I was three and it was very difficult for all of us. I've got a speeh impairment and learning disiability. I also have an almost 2 year old son who also has vcfs, but so far is normal. I'm hoping he stays that way because I don't want him to go through all the pain I've gone through. It would be appreiciated to meet more people like me or if there is any website. Thanks.
