@poelaertpieterjan It was supposed to become an olympic sports but WWII intervened. See wikipedia article for gliding.

@Brian19890624 it was cut with "final cut express". don't know what this effect is called in english... must be somesthing like "tv noise".

Geiles video! eine frage hab ich : wie hast du die Kamera Aussen befestigt? Getaped und gehofft dass es hält, oder ne richtige Konstruktion?

eine kleine Konstruktion. Ein Alublech an das Nasenprofil angepasst. Darauf ein Vierkantrohr mit Bohrung. Darauf kann man dan die Kamera mit Gewindeschraube festdrehen.
Um meine Nerven zu beruhigen, Tape. Viel Tape.

This is a very nice Vid. But Music kills me. Less esoteric and more Rock please, ..in the air , we have to do right desicions to survive!,So , why always that angel-like Music ?Its a Paradoxon!
But filming is just sensational.Thanks.

Well, the championships where just great. I wanted to show that in this video. glider flying is not a fight for surviving... Watch the video till the end - there you find loud guitars and fast planes.
maybe you prefer my "extreme gliding" video?!
