  • wah,.....strange to see professor lupin sleeping with Jack Dawson :D

  • @naomee1

Because this isn't a freaking ''OMFG SO CUTE" movie for creepy fangirls. This is a serious piece of art where the story of two artists that have fallen in love is told. And because Paul WAS indeed older than Arthur, people aren't going to change facts only for little fangirls like you to be pleased. Arthur fell in love with Paul, old, alcoholic and broken. Not with some young, perky boy. Deal with it.

  • @LwillStrip4Cake Quite well put...maybe couldn't have said it better-even though I have seen the movie, but I have experienced(seen and delat with) the same type of critique/

    attitude before.

  • @Carpediem72398 Leo was about 20 when he did this and he reportts that he had to get really drunk to shoot the kissing scenes between him and David (thewlis)

  • Leonardo is beautiful.

  • see this movie in full at bclionsroar....

  • Leo used to say that this was his favorite movie. I agree that the film downplays Rimbaud's nastiness. The main problem for me was that both the main characters were creeps.

Once I got used to the idea that this was a tale of passionate love between two creeps, it became one of my favorite films. :-0

  • oh remus, why do you did this to me ? I love you

  • @MsMrgrinch I disagree. Rimbaud was much more sour than Leo's portrayal. Friends of his describe him as always having a puss on his face, and despite looking very boyish he had a runty look about him. His poems are brilliant, he was very cerebral but so intense and extreme that he did reckless things and harmed a lot of people. Leo is too soft and pretty for Rimbaud, too sweet.

  • jdfbkebdfkhlebfbs rimbaud and verlaine are rolling in their graves, to know their relationship became subject for hollywood!!!!!!!! this film could never do them true justice... besides, it was their POETRY that mattered more than their affair, their brilliant (particularly rimbaud) imagery and manipulation of the french language... ah well. leo is cute.

  • what's the song ???

  • @BeanTheCoffee He was around 17 I think :P
