Hi peeps, today I've got a little preview of OnLive running on the HTC Desire S. Originally an HTC Flyer only application someone has managed to retrieve the .apk and you can now run it on nearly every Android phone!

As the Android experience is currently "view only" you can't play any games on it yet :( but hopefully soon they'll enable the on-screen controls so you can play a spot of Unreal Tournament III on your phone!

To give you an example of what to expect I load up OnLive on my MSI Wind U135 DX Netbook to show you you don't need a huge powerful computer to run the software on!

Take note of how much internet/bandwidth the OnLive service uses during the video of me playing.

  • Bandwidth and latency? Well, I have Fiber... Or well, tempoary I don't, but i've had for a year, and going to get it in approx one and a half month again. It has 2ms latency and my connection is 40mbit, meaning that i retrieve 46-50mbit, and thats download and upload.

  • @killervalonz That sounds amazing! I'll be able to get fiber in about a month or so so I could get a better speed. I get about 20Mbps at the moment however so I might not need to upgrade just yet ;)

  • is there any payments???to download, use or signing up?

  • @evans29091998 No, it's all completely free to sign up and you get to play ANY game for 30 minutes for free as many times as you like as well. You only pay if you want to buy and unlock the full game

  • @DesireFanatics how to download it on HTC CHA CHA?

  • @TheDarkFan709 I don't think that phone is powerful enough :(
