Anchored by Gold's Gym the Dysart Commons located on the corner of Thomas & Dysart roads is yet another victim of the economic collapse. The only suite that seems occupied was the "Fresh & Easy" grocery store. Even the anchor store Gold's Gym was empty.

When you support your local retailer, You are supporting your local economy. Before you decide to pump your money into corporate giants, Please consider that your local corner mom & pop stores are working hard to make ends meet. They are your neighbors and would like to feed their family as well.. So Instead of contributing to corporate executives Hawaiian Vacations, Shop at your local retail stores. support Your Neighborhood, Your Town and Your Economy.

  • You should watch Walmart: The High Cost of Low Prices, just Google it and you'll find it on Google video. I work retail and have many people who escaped Walmart, making MUCH more money at the new retail store. In fact, the vast majority of Walmart employees make UNDER $19,000, which is under the poverty line. These employees have to apply for food stamps, which Walmart HELPS them apply for!

  • @mikethebodacious - Hey Mike... Yes, I have watched it several times. And thats one of the reasons I make the videos I do.... Tomorrow I will be heading out to make a quick video about 3 walmart stores that are within walking distances of each other here in my area...

I wish ALL Americans could watch that video "Walmart - The high cost of low prices"...

    Thanks!

  • Is this the main shopping center there or just a suburb area?

  • @ThePsalm40 - It is a shopping center just 1 mile from the walmart shopping super extravaganza area....so yah I know where you are going with this and I agree...Too much competition for the area. But that being said, I do wish the community would support the local mom & pops more than the big chains case in point, The Chicken wings diner....too bad.

  • @ArizonaPublic Yes, I read somewhere that 70 to 80% of WMs goods were from china! I left a comment on one of your vids about my town and the 'destroyers' damage to the area! This is all unreal for someone my 'age' who lived in a semi sane world pre Wal Mart and giant malls. Every time I do go in a WM my eyes feel like they have acid in them...all the chinese toxic chemicals! God help us, nobody else is! WM is making it impossible to shop anywhere else.

  • @ThePsalm40 - Yep and I did read your email not sure if I replied and if not, I am sorry. Very happy to have you as a channel friend. We share the same views when it comes to WM and the others...That is the reason I made this channel. Hoping with channels like mine and the hundreds of other we can get the word out or at least get at least a few people to rethink their spending habits and point out who's economy they are supporting.

  • seems stuff there are quite expensive :D

  • disassemble and donate materials to mexico. they built them anyway .... send this instead of the cash we send them every year. .... and oh yea .. hire americans to do the disassembling ......

  • arizona sucks

  • Yep. Another dead mall. Nice job with the video.

  • I see a recurring theme here, think about it, strip malls/malls are monuments to disposible income, income an increasing number of folks don't have anymore, see djgroovline's video's out in CA, same stuff, I'm in S. Carolina same stuff, not as bad as out west by a long shot. Same buisnesses, restaurants, botiques, and things of that nature, when needed service stores start going, that'll be a huge indicator

  • good work bring more videos everytime u see stuff like this please thank you

  • Catchy name, plenty of parking! and down the street from a JR. collage, I'm

surprised it turned out to be a total wreck..

I think the owners should give businesses 6 months of free rent to fill the

place up and get some foot traffic coming through it..

Anyway if you listen to the nightly news on TV , the recession is over and

prosperity is just around the corner. LOL!

  • Rents should be increased, then Bill the Mexican Government !!...for there, lend fleece program....that's run the last 60 years !!

  • Landlords will have to get creative- and drop the cost of rent. There are empty stores here but the landlords aren't willing to make deals-- like the first year rent is cheap on a 5 year contract.

  • @ArizonaPublic

3 walmarts in walking distance? WTF? Here in california they only have one walmart per town at most I believe, unless its like a huge city (like a million or something).
