The K-12 public education system in Canada is presently incapable of significant change due to heavily entrenched bureaucracies. Bureaucrats sacrifice our children's education and future for their comfort. #edu #edu20 #gov20

I agree and have experienced many aspects of this video, as a college student myself (paying exorbitant prices for books you barely touch, and wondering how any of this is useful), but I agree, many of these 'issues'-- the students create for themselves. You could get more out of class by actually paying attention and not going on FB (what a concept!!) and not feeling a need to text etc. College isn't easy, and shouldn't be easy & students need to be mature about it/ grow up/ take it seriously.

FANTASTIC VIDEO! I am a Retired TEACHER not an Educator! What is going on in our schools today borders on "Child Abuse". Students are not taught to THINK they are taught to THINK LIKE THE EDUCATOR! This is not TEACHING it is INDOCTRINATION! Schools have lost all sense of Mission and Perspective! They are trying to prepare students for a WORLD that doesn't EXIST anymore! Students WANT to Learn, They Want to Think! Schools are Letting them down and destroying HOPE!
