Agreed: Audrey seems so much more natural, Catherine was good, but always has an undercurrent of forced elegance compared to Tautou.

Speaking for myself, I have always found Ms. Tautou so much more alluring and a far better actress than Deneuve because Deneuve has such dead-looking eyes:pretty but vacant. Tautou's eyes are always so full of life and speak volumns before she even opens her mouth. Also, Tautou's colouring and bone structure is much more typical of French women.

I am 43 and I would like to think I have an ear for music. This is my favorite song of all time. This extended version is fantastic. This song would have been huge if it was put in some 80's movie of the time. It is a damn near perfectly constructed song.
