No, it's because Greenpeace and environmental activists are against shipbreaking and its impact on the environment. Most of the sites out there were happy to let me explore and all of the workers wanted their pictures taken, but the supervisors are wary of adding ammunition to the argument against permitting shipbreaking by allowing photos or video of what was going on there.
