@wilcarr1 1) Whether or not Mumba Abu Jamal was guilty is still up for debate. I know little about this case but I would expect Newman supported him because he either believed him to be innocent or didn't support the death penalty.
2) Many people support Jamal, Amnesty International amongst them.
3) Paul Newman has been dead several years, even if you did buy his salad dressing it wouldn't make much difference.

@TrippyTheShroom LOL -- it's like you were reading my thoughts. Thanks for the laugh!

Paul supported cop killer Mumba Abu Jamal aka: Wesley Cook and I will not buy any more of his wine or salad dressing. To bad he did not think as much about the widow and family of murdered police officer Danny Faulker and throw them a few crumbs of his huge wealth.

Even I, Being a non-religious person, finds beauty and comfort in this song! It's almost absolute perfection!

@Flatziepoo in other words, if those twits who knew about Collin had let Collin do as he pleased on EARTH, they would have survived, but there were many attacks on Collin's life & choices & this caused their death. As if their tamperings with Collin were the very seed of evil--that is to say, being crazy & wild in mind is alright, but the contrabutions to Collin's life made things worse, so, the fall. I mean to say, if they had simply HELPED Collin to enjoy his life, things would be fine....sad?

@Flatziepoo what you've said about DivineNucleus is not true -- i'm trying to get a grip on realit, there seems to be a great deal of depression & denial.. because of betrayal & invasion, causing a pointless sense of self. Collin could have handled the "funny comments" about planet rings, pullution, rainbows & body/mind relations -- if only they had let him get married to his true chosen true love, but they got in the way & this caused their death.--
I think this is the best scene in cinema history. Emotional, inspiring, and terrific acting.
