A tribute concert to the music and musicians trapped behind the so-called Iron Curtain during the Cold War years. They were learning about jazz from Willis Conover's program on the Voice of America Radio and trying to play it although jazz was prohibited because it was thought of as imperialistic and therefore a threat to the ideas of communism. Music by Krzysztof Komeda and other Polish and Hungarian jazz musicians from that era as well as a free interpretation of Frederick Chopin and some Polish and Hungarian Folklore music.
