OK finger picking is easier that using a guitar pic. i know this because i use both guitar pics and my fingers. a real bass player knows how to use both because then they get better all around. ok if you only play with your fingers great you will perfect that way but id rather know many ways of playing so i can get things correct.

@PirateSt3ve ok thats great that you play all thoes instrment but i dont care that has no relevnce. ok i only play bass and i use a pic and i play with a pic. yes most bassiste use their fingers and you can get a lot better sound out but foe low tunings its good to ues a pic so the sound doesnt slur and you can hear each pluck of the string. also i play a 5 string and an experienced bass player told me to use a pic while playing it. and one last thing good bassist use fingers and pics.
