How To Delete Antivirus 2008 without any programs, for free!!!

I'm going to show you how to completely remove Antivirus 2008 without any programs and without having to pay for things.

im sorry people...this DOES work though. sry about the tab thing. im running windows XP and for me, i can press tab or F8. also you can just as easily go into safe mode, since it doesnt allow anything to startup automatically, so no, i wasnt actually missing a step.

when i go onto program files, antivirus 2008 isn't there. what do i do now?

maybe it's hidden. when your are in a folder, click "tools" at the top. Then click "Folder Options..." a panel should come up. Click the "View" tab. Look towards the middle of the list where it says "Hidden Files And Folders" under it make it so the green ball is on the "Show Hidden Files And Folder" now try and find antivirus 2008 in program files, hope i helped!

you didnt remove any registry entries, doesnt that mean the virus can create its self again through this Registry key?

ah crap, i deleted someone's post about it automatically logging them off, even in safe mode, but i meant to say reply. if ur reading this, i have on question. do i know you? because one of my friends is asking the same thing. ive never had that problem, but for something like that, you might have to reinstall your operating system, ur motherboard, and possibly wipe ur hard drive clean with a program the csi uses, look that part up. if it gets to the worst, you need a new computer. sry dude :(

ive got the "antivirus" thing that is a green shield with a white tick on it, it keeps popping up trying to sell me the product and im also getting antivirus alerts asking to remove threats, but i still have to buy the programme... i want to remove this but i dont know how

heres a easier option: run windows in safe mode (F8) as soonest you log on. just click start>all programs>accessories>System restore. then click the date before you got the virus. hope this helped.

HEELLP!!! i got rid of this virus a different way, and now when i turn on my computer it stays at the desktop and i cant do anything, like i cant open anything it just freezes up. can anybody help?
