ALF is just like Sutphen, taking a good name with pride, tradition and reliability and making terrible fire apparatus and still selling it because of its good name. We have a 1989 Pierce Dash and have had no major problems other than routine maitenance since we put it into service and are in the process of purchasing a new Pierce Velocity. You will be pleased with the switch Pierce the best fire apparatus made, like they say... Perform. Like no other. That saying is very true

College Station, TX also has one. However their truck has been giving them tons of problems so they are switching to a Pierce 100' Rear-mount platform.
They are a thing of beauty though.
