@Morrowind11 the fountain shows us a passionate quest driven by love, the prestige shows us the how far a man will take ambition.Both are excellent movies though

When Darren Arnofsky and Clint Mansell get together, they can really make a masterpiece can't they, and a hauntingly beautiful one at that... I think this should be preserved in museums...

I'm glad I'm not alone in wholeheartedly loving this movie. I'm glad there are others out there who feel the same. "The Fountain" is brilliant in so many different ways, and in the end, it's a true human story.

This movie is one of the few that delivers a life message powerful enough to make you rethink, well, everything. Music score is top notch, as always from Clint Mansell.

@Skrappy777 Well said. As a matter of fact I dont *any* movies compare to The Fountain. It is simply one of it's kind imo. A unique experience that transcends that of normal cinema.

@Morrowind11 I agree that it takes a bit more deep thought to appreciate the fountain, but I don't think there is really any comparing the two movies. They are both truly great movies in their own distinct ways.

@ne10man While The Prestige is a very good movie, I think that those who "get" The Fountain will agree that The Fountain is the better of the two. Both are amazing though. :)
