Ok a lot of marks these days are comparing today's wrestlemanias to old school wrestlemanias such as this and saying today's wrestlemanias are better, yes for match quality they have to be better but in this era they did not have to put off good matches the overall spectacle was enough, the characters were enough, the storylines were enough, so the in ring quality really did not matter it had all the important elements....

@Vikkisnake the "80s sax" I think was at it's most epic was the Rick Rude entrance theme.

That 80s sax sound was so prevailent in WWF back then. I can recall it appearing on the following:
- Rick Rude entrance theme
- The Model Rick Martel entrance theme
- Titao Santana entrance theme
- Survivor Series PPV theme
- Lawrence Taylor WM XI theme
- No Holds Barred limo ride scene
And many others

My all-time favorite Wrestlemania intro. This simple sax intro is so much more powerful and atmospheric than these generic rock/pop songs they're using now a days, especially with the stormy backdrop.
