Introduction to the Tendon & Muscle Exercises:
Short summary:
- Health preserving Qigong is one of many kinds of Qigong.
- Yi Jin Jing (易筋经)is a health preserving qigong. Yi4 means 'change', jin1 means 'bones and muscles', jing 1 means 'method'.
- Yi Jin Jing trains your breathing technique through body movements and keeps your psyche in balance
- YJJ strengthens your muscles and conditions your organs
- YJJ according to legend was developed by Damo, an Indian monk who lived in the Song Mountains (middle China) and lives around the start of the Christian era.
- in 2002 the Chinese Bureau for Sport developed a new series of YJJ based on the 12 old movements. You turn, stretch starting from your spine as the centre. You stretch the muscle and tap your bones. This results in improving the organs'functioning, you get more supple muscles and bones, your veins and nerves function unhampered.

  • @budd13909 a true martial artiest is well rounded and not just a specialist in martial arts.

  • @Boricua2k Just learn Chinese you wont' understand the meaning with subtitles. Chinese doesn't translate well at all, and you lose not only half the true meaning but you'll never understand qi gong unless you master Chinese, their language first. Chinese isn't just a language its their culture and their secrets. its not just a way of communicating it has all their history and thought methods and philosophies inside of it.
