@jordify1 Thanks for that info., the clip wasn't the best quality. I think Bev Callender might have been a better bet on the anchor leg judging by that showing though.
@englishman1960 bull shit he was third in that 100M........so slow.....he's only started to take his training seriously a couple years before. When his coach realised that they were so close to Lewis they realised that with a few tweaks they could beat him.........hence in 1992 he was more focused and ready than ever. know your stuff before you believe to tabloid bullshit!!
and 20 yrs before this in 1964 bob hayes ran(even til today) the fastest anchor leg in history-8.6 seconds for those last 100m,and what makes it incredible is he ran that on a loose cinder(DIRT)track dirt for pete's sake !!! it's a shame the 100 finals was on that same dirt track hayes ran 10.05 and won by over 2 meters he wasn't even pushed, if he would have run on these modern rubberized surfaces back then he would have been clicking off 9.8's or better 47 yrs ago, crazy !!!

@flaxonx3 That wasn't Linford Christie on the last leg. It was Clarence Callender.

For the people who are blind or ignored the comment from @LiamP77 - that IS NOT Linford Christie on the anchor leg. It's Clarence Callender.
