If these people are as violent and intolerant as you infer that they are, they would have shoved a gun in your face and threaten to blow up your car. And from the way they are acting, they were very civil. Even if you didn't intrude on a funeral, it was a Friday, that is THEIR religious day. If you want an interview, go during office hours and make an appointment with the Imam, they love talking about Islam. There is something called protocol. Which it looks like you failed to adhere to.

Man, that's real gay of you.

Above all, you were extremely out-of-pocket for not leaving when you were informed that there was a funeral going. Every person with any self-respect has respect for funerals and their processions!
As a matter of fact, my ire is getting stoked the more I think about it. You're lucky to have been confronted by that individual.... I would've given you some real good "See! I told you those #$@ Muslims ain't about peace!" footage....

Judging by your selection of "Favorite" videos, and your comment, you're speaking out of complete ignorance. These fools definitely owe me. They think they can hide and insult my intelligence. I'm in their face and I will not stop, just because I can!

It was rude... you should have left and came back when you found out there was a funeral going on... that's simple southern values.
as to your riding up with a camera and a laptop, there are state/city ordinances and procedures concerning filming on public or private property. He was being nice!! Try taking your cam and laptop and pulling up to any "public" property in the city being staffed by any kind of security, and see what kind of reception you get.

I was only there about two minutes, people were still coming out, some standing in small groups, some more leaving.. then I noticed a group of men come out of a door with a casket, and travel to the rear of the lot, and down a small hill in the distance.

Suddenly it's clear there are two different events going on, Friday prayers had just ended, and then a funeral was in the works. I started to leave leave when these men approached. I politely apologized for any intrusion, even though it was obvious these men, like the dozens I passed in the road were not involved in the funeral, nevertheless I apologized and said goodbye, but now these men wanted me to stay, suddenly I was detained.

The same reason C.A.I.R. says "Islam is a religion of peace" when intelligent people know otherwise.
