Mechanical engineering students at the University of New Haven designed and built a working model of a gamma LTD Stirling engine as part of their senior design project course. The design follows the basic N-92 engine originally designed by James Senft. One difference is that pressure and crank angle converted to volume were obtained in real-time; the pressure vs volume during the cycle is shown in the video. The group consisted of students T. DiMeo, B. Donnelly, N. MacDonald, J. Pietrantuono, O. Ramirez, and D. Whalen with project advisor Dr. S. Ross.
