When an eye becomes irritated, it's often the result of pollen or something else in the air, maybe a lack of sleep. But if the redness grows worse and a fever shows up, it may be a sign of something more serious. In this Children's Channel video podcast, Mark Evans, MD, a pediatrician at the Akron Children's Hospital Pediatrics Brecksville office, discusses the signs and symptoms of pink eye, as well as what can be done to help treat and prevent this infection.
@worldofcalamity I just remembered that over a year ago, I was diagnosed with some kind of allergic reaction. And i've had 2 pink eyes within 2 weeks, and it only last for maybe 24 hrs. If it last that short amount of time most likely it's some kind of allergic reaction, and I do sleep with my fan on, with the a/c.
