Representatives from two Coalitions, Community In Unity (Bronx) and Stop BHOD (Brooklyn) joined at City Hall Steps to denounce the City's Plan to spend money on jails.
Though, recently the courts has sided with not expanding the Brooklyn House of Detention, the Bronx House of Detention is still moving forward.
These plans are detrimental to ensuring our youth have an opportunity in this society, if they are built eventually they must be filled, the community understands and demands that the money for these plans be utilized in more contributive projects that'll afford community members opportunities, such as housing, employment, schools, community centers, health care centers, etc.

The whole darn country is a one big jail. Prison planet is what Alex Jones calls it. This is building ghettos & concentration camps. Camp femas & total enslavement of humanity. It is not as far as you think. Jails is a big money maker for the criminals who operate government programs that loot our tax money and help very little the people.
