Minnesota Fighting Saints "Your a Saint or You Ain't" 1972-73 WHA Highlight Film

Here's a short film produced after the Minnesota Fighting Saints inaugural season in 1972-73 called "Your a Saint or You Ain't" (sic).
The film features full color footage from four games in the Saints first season including close-ups of the action and their very early first season jerseys. These are the games:

First game against the Jets at the St. Paul Auditorium; Saints wear gold jerseys with the "S" crest.

A game against the Cleveland Crusaders in St. Paul Auditorium; Saints wear white jerseys with the "S" crest.

A game against the Jets in St. Paul Civic Center; Saints wear white jersey with familiar Fighting Saint logo.

A game against the Houston Aeros in the St. Paul Civic Center, Saints wear white jersey with familiar Fighting Saint logo.

@07beyotch It should be, but they spelled it wrong. Apparently the budget was so low for the Saints, they couldn't afford the e or the apostrophe!

Ha! That's funny. I was born in 1969 and began playing hockey in the 75-76 season in St Paul so I vaguely remember the Saints. And my coach in 1979-80 (Craig Falkman) played for the Saints at one time. That's about all I remember. But I think I would feel honor-bound to heckle any organization that couldn't even spell their motto correctly, lol. That sounds like something Brad Childress would do!

my parents grew up in the twin cities and i remember hearing them talk about this team. i love the fact that their slogan has a typo! so great. almost unbelievable. haha. thanks for the vid.
