@Cybersib Tannerite is already Amonium Nitrate, adding more would only decrease the sensitivity, likely.
And much like tannerite, fuel and Ammonium Nitrate mixed together are only illegal to sell, store, or transport. If you mix them and use them on site, they're just fine.

How is anfo more illegal than tannerite? Why is tannerite legal, do you know? I do. it has more to do with it being a target, and binary, than it not having oil in it. Anfo= Ammonium nitrate, which is legal, just an oxidizer all by its self basicly harmless. And fuel oil... not illegal, probably not good to drink but basicly harmless. Mix them, its anfo. and now its a blasting agent. And if you want to transport, or store it, thats a no no. Same with tannerite.

@Cybersib tannerite contains ammonium nitrate so basicly adding tannerite to diesel fuel makes a compression ignited ANFO bomb. which is very illegal.
