God's will. Those people that were injured and died was part of Gods great plan. Ask any true Bible believing Church goer. Everything happens for a reason. Just look in your heart and you will find the answer. For people that don't believe this they are not true believers of the Lord. Amen-Ra

I am not a liberal, and I attended the Knoxville UU church, but stopped going years before the shooting incident happened. More than likely gun advocates and other right wingers consider this to be a moral victory for their cause.

The shooter would be a Teabagger today if he didn't shoot at the church...

I'm sure Christian reich-wingers like you know you only have yourselves to blame from all the backlash you recieve your opponnets (gays, athiests, agnostics, liberals, etc) but, as always, you blame all of your self-created problems on people other than yourselves. By doing that, you're acting like spoiled rotten children unwilling to accept responsibility for your own actions, and the more you deny your misdeeds, the more you'll do yourselves in.
-
You know why the Christian 4th Reich (er, far right) is under assault? It'd because religious bigots like you stop at nothing to shove your beliefs down other peoples throats, and when those people (namely gays and liberals) lash out at your attempts to do so, you automatically put on this innocent victim facade and make it look like you're the victms of unprovoked bullying, when not only are you not the victims, but the contrary: The victimizers.
-
You know why the liberals have been trashing reich-wing christians like you? Because you trash non-christians at every turn, and when you get trashed back, you put on this innocent persecuted saint act, making yourselves look like the victims of unprovoked bullying when it's really the other way around. Please be honest and admit the fact reich-wing christians like you are the persecuters, not the persecuted you always portray yourselves as being.

whether or not religion would exist, people would still be angry about something.

Religion attracts aggression.

What that means is that as one is more educated one is more aware of suffering. Have you heard the saying, "Ignorance is bliss."?
For example, if I would have stayed home in the small town I'm from, I would not have learned what I know of the human condition. The experience of living in a city for a while has taught me lessons.

Huh. Must be a different bible. The Christian one has this to say on the subject
"For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.
Ecclesiastes 1:18"
